My "Debut x 2 + a Few" and a new obsession!

First let me say – my “Debut x 2 + a few” birthday party was SOOOO fun! As promised, I have a few pictures from the event of me in my tiara and of course the pink feather vest!

Check out the cake my girlfriends got for me! I loved it! They know me so well! Haha!!

 We also had some jello shots (a success!) I made 3 kinds: strawberry + Lemoncello, lime + Malibu, and orange + Raspberry Sourpuss! So, so, SOOOOOO good!! (you can kind of see them in the background)

Also I made this:

They’re cheesecake stuffed strawberries dipped in chocolate and dusted with graham cracker crumbs. And seriously? Delicioso, if I do say so myself!! It’s going to be my new “go-to” dessert. So simple and totally “ta da!!”

Guess where I got it from?

Well for the past few weeks I have been completely obsessed with this website called Pinterest. Have you heard about it? I’m totally hooked. My cousin’s wife, Linds, had sent me an invitation to it (because it’s exclusies ;) haha!) so I checked it out. Now I spend hours looking at the pins that people put on there. There’s recipes, craft ideas, outfits, hairstyles, wedding ideas, photo ideas, quotes, fitness regimens, organizing tips, and pretty much anything people have seen on the internet, found it interesting or good and pinned it to this board. It’s pretty awesome. When you click on the pic, it takes you to a bigger pic and when you click on that, it takes you to the original website, where for example, if it was a picture of a delicious cupcake, you'd get the recipe! Seriously hooked.

Plus it’s totally inspiring. I’m like looking at all these ideas saying to myself “I could SO do that!” or “Why didn’t I think of that?”

I’ve already made a cake with nothing but cake mix and a can of soda. Did you hear me? A cake made with a can of pop!

I’ve also made cinnamon french toast (delicious) and I have at least 3 more recipes that I’m planning to try in the next week or so (I’ll tell you about them if they work out).  Crazy! I love it. I don’t actually understand about “pinning” stuff myself, but looking at what other people have pinned is fun already!

Anyways friends, I guess my Birthday Week Extravaganza has finally come to an end ...

However…I’m looking forward to all the good times and adventures I will have this year!

And next year…I’m sure it will be even better!! So much so in fact, that I’m thinking I should extend my Birthday Extravaganza to a month…
