I have nothing. To wear, that is.

There are certain questions I ask myself on a regular basis: What's the haps today? What is up with my hair? What are we having for dinner? What the deuce? and of course, the most important question of them all -WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?!

This question (and the numerous variations of it) is one that I never seem to have a consistent answer to. Some days it's something that I can readily answer, but more often than not, I only end up figuring it out in the last few minutes of when I'm getting ready in the morning! My sister tells me that I would save a lot more time if I either thought about it before I went to bed or while I'm in the shower in the morning. But neither of those times works for me. Before I go to bed I'm either writing on here, watching tv or falling asleep. During my shower, I'm still trying to wake up. Then after that, it's blow dry, brush my teeth, style my hair and now (thanks to my new obsession with make-up) at least 20 minutes of applying various eye shadows, concealers, and eye liner (seriously, how do people put it on so perfectly?!).  By the time I'm done all that, I only have a few minutes to apply lotion, decide on my outfit (I'm trying to wear "outfits" again!),and choose my accessories! (Even less time if I actually have to iron my clothes). Thank goodness my husband and I now have our own closets! I would never be able to find anything if his stuff was in there too. (Seriously, boy has more clothes than me.) On Fridays  I get to wear jeans, but it doesn't really make it that much easier. I mean, I still want to wear "an outfit". (I know, I'm high maint.)

A variation on this question is: What should I wear on my trip to_____? I've complied lists and tables on this subject. In fact, I pretty much make up a list/table of outfits every day. Sometimes I don't even own the stuff on my list yet. Regardless, once a trip is booked, the next thing I do is try and figure out what the heck I'm going to wear daily. As you saw in  my post a few days ago, we booked a trip to Vegas this summer. However, I'm completely stumped as to what I could wear. What do you wear in an oven?

Anyways, I don't know if I will ever be able to answer my question of "What should I wear?" consistently or even to my liking...but at least I always have a reason to go shopping!
