So I was watching Glee tonight and it was the "Power of Madonna" episode. And I love, love, LOVED when Finn and Rachel sang "Open Your Heart". Did you see the look of intensity when Finn was playing the drums? Yeah. And...I'm in love with Finn. (Yes, I'm extremely fickle. I may have to do a "Celebrity Boyfriends - part deux" post. Good thing my husband doesn't get jaleux.) Anyways, I was talking to one of my bff's about this new crush and she admitted that she was a tiny bit in love with Mr. Schu. Now, before I go on, I don't know if you've all seen the show, but since I'm a Glee-neophyte, I thought Mr. Schu was the principal. So I was like "Really?!" Well to each their own, I suppose. But then realized that Mr. Schu is actually the teacher. (I suppose that would make more sense.) Anyways, she said the reason she started to like him was because...she had a dream about him. The next morning she woke up and googled him. (Ha! I knew I wasn't the only one!)
So, have you ever dreamt of someone and your dream of them was so interesting, that when you woke up you were kind of intrigued by them? Then because of your new obsession, you find that you need to google them as soon as possible. I believe it's because you just need to see them again to "re-live" your dream and to see if you only felt that way because you were dreaming. Once I dreamt I was flying...with Bruce Willis. Not on a plane flying, but actually FLYING. It was good times. When I woke up I was like "What? Bruce Willis? Really? I think I'm in love with him!" Hm..Interesting. So I googled him because I thought "Could I have been overlooking Bruce Willis for all these years?" But...then after checking out IMDB and Wikipedia (plus a slew of Google images) I kind of laughed at myself and went, "Uh, no. Thank goodness THAT was just a dream!" (hahaha! Oh Bruce Willis!)
Then there's other times where I have a dream about someone and they irritate me and I can't look at them the same. (Yes, I'm talking to you Channing Tatum. Ever since you wore that "men's jean skirt" and were all aloof and snobby to me, I can't look at you the same. No, I can't forgive you.) My husband is familiar with these dreams. If, in my dream, he's done something that's made me mad, I wake up all annoyed and give him the silent treatment. Then he's all "What did I do in your dreams NOW?!" (Heh heh, yes I admit it's kind of dumb, but sometimes my dream seems so real! Luckily he's patient enough to reassure me that it was just a dream. Every time.)
Anyways, I guess that's all for tonight. It's gettin late and I'm off to sleep.
Good night and sweet dreams!
