My fave new show "Glee" was on tonight. I definitely have to go and buy the first season. I'm just SO loving this show right now! How have I not watched this show until a few weeks ago? After last week's "And I'm in love with Finn" show, I couldn't wait to see this week's episode. And...This show is genius. The songs from the past two weeks' episodes were upbeat, popular and fun. Songs like "Hello/Goodbye" and "Hell" and then of course "Express Yourself", "Like a Prayer", "Vogue"and my new on-constant-repeat fave "Borderline/Open your Heart" (sigh, Finn...) were stuck in my head for the past 2 weeks.

However, tonight's episode was more...melancholy. (Don't ask me what that means, I don't know the exact definition.) But...It was deep, with hints of longing and sadness. And I was moved. The songs...what were those songs? "A House is Not a Home" and "Beautiful" were haunting and lovely and I felt my heart swell with emotion and spill over. As I wiped away the tears (you know that I get emotional when I hear music like this), I thought to myself, this show is so much more than just being cool and quirky! It's heart-breaking and beautiful...it's more than just catchy songs with a new twist.  It's something else. It's...it's...

Wow, am I going a bit overboard??? I know. I'm extremely dramatic. (It's because I insist upon myself.) Well, who cares - I love this show and ain't no one gonna change my mind. So there.

Plus, I love it because it has my name in the title : )
